Dear younger me,
I'm sorry you're there now. I'm sorry everything is shattered and dull.
The light will shine on those jagged edges and our world will explode with beautiful glittering colors. We will heal in ways never thought possible.
We will no longer fear pink or colors, but LOVE it and share it. We will throw glitter to the wind with a peaceful smile on our face that brings warmth and safety to others too.
We did it and we did it well. So well. We did it in healthy skin and radiant makeup.
We got those degrees, we got a dream career, we found a better family and community, we built our own home, and we are lucky enough to even start our own Mary Kay business as the cherry on top.So, to my younger self. I'm glad you didn't give up all those times. I'm glad you kept getting back up and clawing your way up that mountain because today I more than thrive in Mary Kay.
